The Salem Dance Ensemble fall concert features a broad array of original work by student choreographers, faculty, and guest artists. This concert will feature the premiere of a new work choreographed by fall choreographer-in-residence Jeannette Neill.
Jeannette Neill founded and was the Artistic Director of the Jeannette Neill Dance Studio. Jeannette has been on faculty of many well-known dance institutions including:, Boston Youth Moves, Boston Conservatory, Walnut Hill School of Performing Arts, Harvard University, Boston University, and Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Her internationally acclaimed master classes have taken her to Italy, Sweden, Japan, and Mexico. In addition she has extensive choreography credits from a variety of companies and industrial shows. Jeannette has received several lifetime awards; she was the first person in the performing arts to be recognized by the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
